What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese practice that is the oldest practiced medical system in the world, and it is used by at least one third of the world's population as a primary healthcare system.
It is a non-invasive procedure that is very popular for the treatment of numerous conditions, including stress, depression, allergies, sleeping disorders, pain, addictions, headaches, and menstrual disorders. Acupuncture is based on natural laws which govern the movement of vital life energy in and outside of the body.
This energy, called Qi (chi) moves through the body supporting functions of the body, mind, and spirit. Acupuncture is used when there is an imbalance in your Qi (chi) by using the gentle insertion of very thin needles at specific points along the channels of your Qi energy in order to influence physiological functions and restore harmony within your body.
